DonationsTAX CREDIT
The Conservative Party of Canada is a registered political party and your contribution paid during a civil year can give you access to generous tax credits on your next federal income declaration.
The tax credit which you can claim on your federal tax return is calculated based on the amount of the contribution:
- up to 400$, 75 % credit ;
- 50% credit for the amount exceeding 400$ ;
- For contributions over 750$, a 475$ credit plus on third of the amount exceeding 750$ up to a maximum credit of 650$ per year.
An individual cannot contribute more than 1 100$ annually in total to candidates and registered associations. See Élections Canada for details.
Conditions : I am a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. I am making a contribution as an individual, with my personal credit card and not a corporate or business card. I respect the maximum contribution limit. I am at least 18 years of age. |
